GMK
GMK makes the ABS doubleshot keycaps that dominate the custom hobby, in Cherry profile, using tooling inherited from the original Cherry keycap operation. If a keycap set is described only by a designer's name and a colourway, it is usually a GMK set.

What to know
- Makes
- Keycaps
- Known for
- Doubleshot legends that cannot wear off, the sharpest colour matching available, and Cherry profile as standard.
- Worth knowing
- Two real drawbacks. ABS develops a shine where your fingers land, usually within months. And lead times are long even by group-buy standards, routinely a year or more from payment to delivery.
- Who it suits
- Anyone who wants a specific colourway done properly and is prepared to wait for it.
- Availability
- Group buys mainly
- Relationships
- Uses tooling descended from Cherry's own keycap production, which is why GMK sets are Cherry profile.

CherryABS
A doubleshot ABS set in GMK's cylindrical Cherry profile, which means every row is a different height and keys cannot be moved between rows. ABS takes a visible shine with use, faster than PBT does, and this set is no exception. Divinikey and KBDfans both quote Cherry profile, ABS and doubleshot, so those figures are cross-checked. Only the base and four child kits are listed, so coverage past a standard ANSI board depends on buying the extension and numpad kits.
