Owlab
Owlab designs custom keyboards and sells them directly, mostly through group buys, and also produces switches and stabilizers. Its boards sit at the premium end and are known for their finish and their mounting design rather than for volume.

What to know
- Makes
- Keyboards, Switches, Stabilizers
- Known for
- Premium group-buy keyboards, and switches developed to suit them, including modified housings not sold separately elsewhere.
- Worth knowing
- Group buys mean long waits and no restocks, so an Owlab board is usually bought months before it exists or second-hand afterwards. An owlab.store domain did not resolve when checked.
- Who it suits
- Someone buying a considered second or third board, who can wait.
- Availability
- Group buys mainly
- Relationships
- Designs keyboards and also commissions switches, so an Owlab switch is usually made by a contract manufacturer to their specification.
No official site could be confirmed for Owlab, so none is linked here.

Owlab
Linear43 gf
A 43 gf linear bottoming out at 49 gf with an unusually short 1.9 mm pre-travel, in a polycarbonate top over Owlab's modified P1 bottom. Total travel is missing: the two shops quote 3.5 mm and 3.6 mm. A tenth of a millimetre is small enough to be a rounding difference and large enough that neither number is worth printing as fact.

PCB screw-in
Screw-in and PCB mount, and the unusual entry on the spec sheet is the wire: a shape-memory alloy from Liquidmetal rather than the usual plated steel. Wire is the one variable that decides whether a set rattles, so it is the right thing to spend the claim on, but the listing puts no number behind it and no second shop carries the set to compare against. Sold as an 80 percent kit and a 100 percent kit, both spanning 2u, 6.25u and 7u, and both including Teflon tape and wire cushions, so the tuning parts are in the box. Housing material is not stated, and the price is quoted per kit size rather than per set, so neither is recorded here.
