That makes it the usual answer for a tactile switch you want smoother without muting, since a grease this thin damps the housing less and leaves the bump intact. Mechboards credits it to Miller-Stephenson in collaboration with Hunger Work Studio and Switchmod Keyboards, and notes it is a single semifluid grease rather than a blend of two substances, which is why the shelf life is quoted as indefinite.
